The short version
You don't need an account. The numbers you type are worked out in your own browser and are not sent to us. Anything you save stays on your device.
What stays on your device
- Saved inputs. Each calculator remembers your latest numbers in your browser's local storage, so they're there next time. The Kingshot Bear Trap planner saves your kingdoms the same way. “Reset” brings back the starting values, and clearing your browser's site data removes everything.
- Share links. “Copy link to these numbers” builds a link with your inputs inside the address. Anyone you send it to can see those numbers, and the address may be kept in browser history or by the app you send it through.
What our providers may collect
- Hosting. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and protect the site.
- Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
Advertising
CalcPenguin may show ads from Google AdSense to stay free. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's ad settings, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Where the law requires it, for example in the UK and European Economic Area, we'll ask for your consent before ad cookies are set.
Children
CalcPenguin is a general-audience site and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and to fix what you report.
