Enter the troops you have and the ratio each march should use. The calculator splits your army into marches, takes the highest tiers first, and when you run short of archers, shares what's left evenly across the later marches.
How to use the calculator
1
Enter your troops
Open your troop list in the game and type how many you have of each tier. Leave a box empty if you have none.
2
Set march capacity
For each march, enter the most troops it can carry. The game shows this when you set up a march.
3
Check the ratio
Every march starts at Fixed ratio 10 : 10 : 80. If you run out of archers, the march is highlighted. Tap its button to switch it to Archer-first or Remaining troops.
4
Set your formations
Tap a march to see only its troops, then enter each number in the game from top to bottom. Use Copy formations to share them.
Each kingdom keeps its own troops and marches.

How the split works
Marches are filled from top to bottom, and each march only takes what the marches above it left. A Fixed ratio march fills to its full capacity at the ratio you set. The usual Bear Trap ratio is 10% infantry, 10% cavalry and 80% archers.
If you have enough archers, keep every march at Fixed ratio. Most players don't, so a march that can't be filled is highlighted and offers a switch. The archers left after the marches above are then shared evenly across the Archer-first marches (usually marches 2 and 3).
Each Archer-first march then gets the same number of infantry and cavalry as archers. When the archers don't divide evenly, one type is 1 troop lower so every Archer-first march has the same total. An Archer-first march never takes a bigger archer share than your lead march.
Remaining troops marches (usually march 4 onward) only take the troops left after the marches above, so the marches above stay unchanged. Those troops are split evenly between them, keeping their mix of troop types.
Every march takes troops from the highest tier down, and each tier is shared evenly between marches in the same group.
